Update: April - May - June 2006
- On April 14, 2006, we learned that we had been welcomed into the ear X-tacy family of artists (we're #49). We are looking forward to continuing our outstanding relationship with ear X-tacy and will certainly do our part to "Keep Louisville Weird."
- The Accountants song "Email Junkie" was used in the background for CBS' The Saturday Early Show on May 13.
- The Accountants are releasing Keepin' Up with the Joneses, their follow-up CD to Corporate Punks Amuck on June 2, 2006 with a follow-up in-store appearance ast ear X-tacy on June 3. If you liked Corporate Punks Amuck, you'll really like this set. In addition to being available at ear X-tacy, the CDs will also be available on CD Baby and the usual digital music stores like iTunes and Musicmatch.

- The Accountants are in the studio putting the finishing touches on Keepin' Up with the Joneses, their follow-up CD to Corporate Punks Amuck. If you liked Corporate Punks Amuck, you'll really like this set. With titles like the title track Keepin' Up with the Joneses, Vacation, Slacker, Fraud and Conspiracy, Interoffice Interlude, Crap Detector among others, you just know we're not letting anyone off the hook. The Accountants are co-producing this CD with David Stewart, and we're extremely pleased with the contributions he's already made. We anticipate a Spring 2006 release first to digital music services like iTunes, Napster, Musicmatch and buymusic.com and then CD's shortly thereafter. - The Accountants are pleased to announce that the song "You" from their upcoming CD has been chosen for inclusion in the upcoming Stu Pollard Flick Keep Your Distance.
About the movie Keep Your Distance:

Filmed entirely in Louisville, Keep Your Distance is the new motion picture from filmmaker Stu
Pollard, who made his debut with the romantic comedy Nice Guys Sleep Alone. Keep Your Distance is a
suspense flick that stars Gil Bellows (Ally McBeal, Shawshank Redemption), Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing
Jessica Stein), Kim Raver (24), Christian Kane (Just Married), Elizabeth Pena (Lone Star), and Stacy
Keach (Mike Hammer).
The film opens in theaters on Friday, September 2nd, 2005, including the Baxter Avenue Theatres and Cinemark Tinseltown USA, and
will spend the fall on Tour at other theatres, film festivals, and college campuses throughout the U.S.
Keep Your Distance will be released nationally on DVD in early 2006.

- The Accountants were part of the kick-off festivities for the Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Revenue Commission's Tax Amnesty program. In a related story, David Brown, host of "Marketplace" distributed through Public Radio International, interviewed Phil Miller with the Louisville Metro Mayor's Office. The Accountants were featured prominently in the feature. - If you were
watching the TODAY show on NBC last Friday, June 13, you may have caught a
glimpse of the Accountants' Sid Luscious. This was Sid's network television

- The Accountants
had a great show at WFPK's 3rd Annual AAA NON-COMMvention here in Louisville
last weekend, performing for radio and record industry folk from all over.
Everyone in attendance received a goodie bag stuffed with an ACCOUNTANTS disc,
so hopefully we will be hitting the airwaves in some new markets soon.

- The Accountants
have been busy writing new songs for the follow-up to Corporate Punks
Amuck. Some working titles include "Keeping Up With the Joneses,"
and "Crap Detector." And if anyone out there has a good idea for

Main Page and tell us about it.

- The Accountants
will be featured on WDRB Fox 41 "Fox In The Morning" on Tuesday,
April 15. Tune in and watch the suits rock on tax day.
- The Accountants have been
invited to perform at the 2003 AAA Non-Commvention in Louisville in May. This
radio conference is hosted by WFPK's Dan Reed and draws Program Directors
and other radio industry personnel from all over the country.

- The Accountants will perform
at The Mom's Music Festival at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom on Saturday, July
13th, 2002 (6:00-6:30PM, Stage 3). The event is a retirement party for Louisville
music legends Beverly & Marvin Maxwell. 110 of Louisville's best bands in
one day! Ya gotta come out!
- The Accountants are busy
writing new material in Sid's home studio for the next album. The early tracks
are sounding great and the group is really enjoying getting back into the
creative process. The band is getting these early demos ready so that they
can be presented to producer Todd Smith, who will help hone them into the
next Accountants' classics!
- Thanks to Denton Randall
for spinning "Executive Comp" on his radio show Sunday, June 16th. The Accountants
were featured on his show earlier this year and really appreciate his support.

the featured artists on WFPK's "Live Lunch" this Friday, April 12th. The show
will be broadcast live on the radio on WFPK, FM 91.9. You can also listen

Doors open at 11:30 am. Brown bag your lunch, and join us for this FREE performance.
- Also, make plans to attend
the Tax Break Party at Coyote's on Tax Day, next Monday (April 15). We will
be blowing out all the stops. A Zip Express representative will be there to
guarantee that he will get your tax return postmarked before midnight that
night so you do not have to run to the post office! Doors open at 7PM. The
band will take the stage between 9:15 and 9:30PM. Tickets are available via

or at Coyote's.

- Make plans now to attend
the 'Corporate Punks Amuck' CD launch party on Friday, March 22th at
Jillian's in Louisville. This will be our first live public performance
and we can't wait! It will be a BIG event.

by WFPK Program Director Dan Reed to write and record a theme song for his
